| This is one of a number of sculptural decorations created by Charles Marega for Hycroft Manor, at 16th and Hemlock in Vancouver. The McRae mansion is one of Vancouver's most magnificent early houses, with a long and interesting history. It is now owned by the UBC University Women's Club, who lovingly restored it after it fell into dis-use after World War II, and now maintain it as their "clubhouse" as well as making it available for other functions. |
