William Bayliss

William Bayliss was born in Wales. After arriving in BC he exhibited his work in the 1940, 1941, 1943, 1945, and 1946 B.C. Artists shows at the Vancouver Art Gallery. He was living in Crawford Bay at the time.

He also had artwork in the 1945 British Columbia At Work exhibition at the Vancouver Art Gallery.

Baylis died in Nelson in 1946. His death certificate noted that he had been in BC for 42 years at that time, and he had been employed as a Fruit Rancher for 40 years. He was single.
