Adeline Baxter was living in Winnipeg in 1914. She exhibited with the Island Arts and Crafts Society from 1929 until 1941.

She exhibited her work in the 1930 Spring Exhibition of the B.C. Society of Fine Arts, and also had work at the Vancouver Exhibition that year, representing the Island Arts and Crafts Society.
