Patrick Barr

Patrick Barr exhibited his work in the 1944 British Columbia At Work exhibition at the Vancouver Art Gallery, as well as a number of B.C. Artists exhibitions. The artist was living in Vancouver in 1945.

He also had work in the 1948 Annual Exhibition of the Atelier Sketch Club. He was listed as a Member in the exhibition catalogue.

B.C. Vital Statistics on-line states that he died in Vancouver in 1954 at the age of 77.

A reference to a Patrick Barr is given in Harper, who lists the artist as active in 1880, painting "watercolour sketches of Moodyville and other B.C. towns". Perhaps there was more than one Patrick Barr.
