Anthony (Tony) Staunton Archer

Tony Archer was born in Campbellford, ON. He exhibited in the 1946 7th Annual Vancouver International Salon of Pictorial Photography exhibition at the Vancouver Art Gallery.

Archer advertised in the 1946 British Columbia and Yukon Directory as "Tony Archer Photographer, the successor to Xals." His studio address was given as "opp. Hotel Vancouver."

Archer died at the hospital in Sechelt in 1993, at which time he was living at Gibsons, self employed as a portrait photographer. He was survived by his wife Dorothy Frances McCall.
