Hector Maclean Angus had a duo exhibition at the Vancouver Art Gallery in 1942 with Ruby M. Young.

He exhibited his work in the 1944 British Columbia At Work exhibition at the Vancouver Art Gallery.

He also exhibited in the B.C. Artists annual exhibitions in 1939, 1940, and 1948. He lived in Needles and in Nelson, B.C.

He died at Saanich, B.C. in 1960 at the age of 69, according to B.C. Vital Statistics on-line.
